How
Capromorelin Works
Capromorelin, the new anti-aging drug manufactured by
Pfizer, has been tested on 395 men and women of ages
sixty-five to eighty-four. The results were positive in
bringing about an increase in lean muscle weight, decreasing
extra-fat (abdominal fat in particular), and general
physical decline including coordination of movements. All
these symptoms are the aftermath of significant drop in
growth hormones secreted in the body. Capromorelin acts by
stimulating the secretion of these hormones and hence bring
about an observed slowing down of aging.
Growth
Hormone Levels
Growth hormone levels gradually increase from childhood
onwards, enhancing the metabolism and driving apace the
synthesis of vital proteins and other chemicals in the body
cells. At puberty, there is a burst in growth hormone
production. The levels peak at the age of eighteen. Onwards,
they gradually decline until coming to halt at death.
Physical activity and performance rely heavily on these
hormones. Until now, revival of this hormone production has
not been a major success. Rather, synthetically prepared
hormonal supplements (including estrogen and testosterone)
have been used to enhance physical performance.
Role of
Capromorelin in Enhancing Physical Performance
All the subjects treated with Capromorelin showed an
increase in lean muscle mass and reduced fat accumulation in
the body, owing to the accelerated metabolism caused by
growth hormones. These hormones were stimulated by the
action of Capromorelin. The positive point in using
Capromorelin is that it triggers the production of natural
growth hormones, redeeming one of taking in synthetic
hormonal supplements. Though Capromorelin does not guarantee
eternal life or youth but it is a hope in strengthening an
aging person enough to look after him/herself, stay home,
and enjoy a better life. It is important to note that
Capromorelin has not yet been studied to show increase in
cognitive activity.
